This resource explains more about Professor Sara Ryan’s book, ‘Critical Health and Learning Disabilities: An Exploration of Erasure and Social Murder’.

This book is about how people with learning disabilities continue to be treated with disrespect, cruelty and violence.

It draws on much research from different countries and explores people’s experiences of healthcare, love and relationships, homes, employment and eating.
