SAAIL Supporting Autistic Adults’ Intimate Lives

Supporting Autistic Adults’ Intimate Lives is a participatory study exploring how adult social care in England can better support autistic people around sex and relationships. Funded by NIHR SSCR, the study employed critical policy document analysis, interviews, asynchronous focus groups, and participatory workshops to explore autistic people’s experiences and to produce resources to inform social care policy and practice.
The key output of the SAAIL project is a website housing a wealth of resources and outputs from the project, including toolkits for autist people and for professionals, videos, blogs, and policy briefs.
